SACHEM to Raise Prices for Tetramethylammonium Hydroxide - Increase to be effective January 1, 2008

TMAH performs exceptionally well as the active ingredient in a number of electronics applications.

(Austin, TX)-­November 30, 2007– SACHEM announced today that it will raise prices for its production of Tetramethylammonium Hydroxide (TMAH) worldwide approximately 5 – 8 percent, effective January 1, 2008 or as current contracts allow.  Specifically, the increase affects all of SACHEM’s production grades and assays.

SACHEM TMAH performs exceptionally well as the active ingredient in a number of electronics applications.  It is used in the manufacture of integrated circuits, liquid crystal displays, printed circuit boards, capacitors, sensors, and many other electronic components.  SACHEM occupies a worldwide leadership position in the manufacture and supply of TMAH, providing a consistent and reliable source for all purity grades.
