SACHEM Develops New and Improved Protocols for Displacement Chromatography

(Austin, TX) – June 13, 2008 – In response to customer demand, SACHEM has redesigned its protocols for Expell™, Isolis™, and Propell™ displacers.  The new protocols are based on extensive customer feedback and SACHEM’s broad experience with displacement chromatography.  SACHEM developed this set of standardized procedures to enable users of displacement chromatography to more easily apply the technology in their labs and plants.

“Displacement chromatography is very useful in protein purification, oligonucleotide purification, peptide purification or as a sample preparation method.  Our new protocols outline the displacement procedure and provide guidance for the user during displacement experiments to help ensure the success of each chromatography run,” commented Dr. Barry Haymore, Director of New Technology at SACHEM.
