SOCMA Bronze WinnerCleburne, TX – December 8, 2010 — SACHEM’s world-class performance products facility in Cleburne is the recipient of the 2010 ChemStewards® Bronze Performance Improvement Award. The SACHEM Cleburne plant was selected from hundreds of eligible facilities for its outstanding dedication to continuous improvement in environment, health, safety and security practices.

SOCMA is the leading international trade association representing the batch chemical industry. SOCMA chartered ChemStewards® in 2005 as an environmental, health, safety and security (EHS&S) management program designed to help facilities optimize their performance, save money and enhance their role as a good corporate citizen in their community.
