The SACHEM Cleburne plant was selected from hundreds of eligible facilities for its outstanding dedication to continuous improvement in environment, health, safety and security practices.<\/p>\n<p>SOCMA\u00a0is the leading international trade association representing the batch chemical industry. SOCMA chartered ChemStewards\u00ae in 2005 as an environmental, health, safety and security (EHS&amp;S) management program designed to help facilities optimize their performance, save money and enhance their role as a good corporate citizen in their community.<\/p>\n<p>The 2010 ChemStewards\u00ae Performance Improvement Award Program is based on achievements during the timeframe of January to December 2009 and\u00a0highlights member dedication to five core\u00a0principles: (1) Stakeholder communication, (2) Product stewardship, (3) EHS&amp;S in planning and operations, (4) Employee training and engagement, (5) Resource management and waste minimization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are honored to receive national recognition for our company&#8217;s commitment to performance excellence.
