SACHEM, Inc. and Dr. Steven M. Cramer Sign Agreement to Commercialize Displacement Technology
Austin, TX - January 7, 2002 - SACHEM, Inc. announced today a strategic agreement with Dr. Steven M. Cramer to develop and commercialize displacement chromatography technology. Displacement chromatography is a powerful technique for the purification of proteins and other biomolecules.

Dr. Steven M. Cramer is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has become a recognized expert in the fields of Chromatographic Bioprocessing and Separation Science and is the Editor of the journal “Separation Science and Technology”. Dr. Cramer received his PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from Yale University and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University.
