Genentech Highlights SACHEM's Displacers at PREP 2009
Austin, TX - July 31, 2009- Last week, Genentech presented the keynote case study at PREP 2009 entitled, "Displacement Chromatography for the Purification and Enrichment of MAb Charge Variants: A Case Study".  The presentation reviewed the motivation for the study, citing the heterogeneity of MAb therapeutics, Quality by Design programs and product characterization. Because of the high loadings and high resolutions that displacement chromatography offers, Genentech was able to see a 300-fold less sample manipulation and 30-fold increase in throughput.

SACHEM has ion-exchange displacers commercially available and is currently beta testing reversed phase displacers with several customers. SACHEM offers a full line of displacers including ExpellTM, IsolisTM and PropellTM. SACHEM also provides e-learning seminars and on-site consulting support to familiarize our customers with displacement chromatography.
