Meet Erica:
 
erica-tarbutton-groupedErica joined the SACHEM Americas Customer Service Team two years ago. As Customer Service Representative, Erica ensures that SACHEM customers receive excellent customer service by providing pricing and availability information about a product, by seeing orders through from placement through delivery and invoicing, and by troubleshooting any problems that may occur.   

What are your main work responsibilities?
I am responsible for taking care of our customer's needs here in the US and in countries such as Taiwan and Korea. I work closely with Production and Shipping to ensure speedy and accurate service.  I enter orders and then maintain them until they have been invoiced.  During this process I encounter numerous people from all departments to make sure our customers receive top notch service.

Have you worked on different projects or held different positions at SACHEM?
I have worked in the Customer Service department here at SACHEM for nearly two years. During this time, I have participated in all party planning committees and I am currently involved in an Improvement Team to make our shipping procedures more efficient.  My responsibilities are always evolving, but one thing remains constant: the continued support for our customers.

Can you describe your most interesting, professional challenge at SACHEM?
My most important task is to build and maintain my relationship with our customers and my associates. I check in with my customers on a regular basis to make sure all their needs are being met.  One of my favorite customers always calls in her order at the beginning of the month. I now try to have the order prepared - ready to go out as soon as I hear from her. 

What are the best things about working at SACHEM?

SACHEM is a company that is value-oriented and all the people who work here make it such an encouraging place to work. We have a strong sense of family and help each other out when needed. Because SACHEM is a globally and locally well-respected company, I am so proud to call this place home!

What do you do in your spare time?
I like to go to museums, art shows and I am a big fan of music shows. While in college, I regularly volunteered at South by Southwest in Austin to be able to see the concerts. Now that I live in Austin, I still attend South by Southwest - I just don't have the time to be involved in all the background work anymore. I love to read - everything from gossip magazines to novels.  I do Yoga and Pilates and love to play with my dog Trixie.

Can you give an example of how SACHEM values are reflected in your job?
I always operate in the SACHEM Way and treat my customers and associates in a caring, open and ethical manner.  There is an emphasis on safely and quality in everything I do here at SACHEM.
