Meet Wengan: Wengan is part of the SACHEM Wuxi team. As Manufacturing Supervisor, Wengan keeps Wuxi's high purity chemical production running smoothly. Wengan  is appreciated for creating a great team environment. He and his team are known for their dependability. Wengan's friendly attitude is a nice reflection of the "SACHEM Way."  What are your main responsibilities? I am responsible for keeping production at the SACHEM Wuxi plant running efficiently. I am also responsible for ensuring equipment maintenance in the plant. I work in close cooperation with our supply chain department. My typical activities include material planning, production scheduling, operations trouble shooting and supporting maintenance activities. Have your worked on different projects or held different positions at SACHEM? I worked as a production supervisor in the Wuxi plant from December 2006 to June 2008. In June, I was given additional responsibility for managing the maintenance section, and I was promoted to manufacturing supervisor. Before joining SACHEM, I worked in a French Fine Chemical company for seven years. Can you describe your most interesting, professional challenge at SACHEM? My most important task is to run our production in a safe and efficient manner, that is, my goal is to lead the operations team to keep production efficient while keeping Health, Safety, Environment and Ethics at the forefront. Producing high purity TMAH that meets our customers' expectations is an interesting challenge for me because high purity chemical production is a new area for me.   What are the best things about working at SACHEM? SACHEM Wuxi is like a big family. I have many nice colleagues here. Moreover, the job gives me a lot of new learning opportunities. Since SACHEM has a very strong position in the electronic chemicals industry, I am confident SACHEM Wuxi has a great future and I want to grow with SACHEM Wuxi. In short, I like SACHEM, I love the people at SACHEM Wuxi, and I love my job. What do you do in your spare time? In my spare time, I like to spend time with my wife and daughter. We like to go shopping and do sports. Also, I like to play Chinese Ma-Jiang with my friends. Can you give an example of how SACHEM values are reflected in your job?  We always say HSEE is the pre-condition for everything in our operation. In our daily operation, the first and most important thing is to maintain exemplary HSEE performance, and the first topic in our production meeting is HSEE. As stated in the SACHEM mission – SACHEM will contribute to the success of our associates in each of their individual endeavors - I think our top management sincerely cares about associates.
