Austin, TX - February 4, 2009 - SACHEM, Inc. is pleased to announce Thomas J. (Tom) Mooney as President, SACHEM Asia.  Tom has been Senior Vice President of SACHEM Americas for 8 years and has been with SACHEM for 25 years.  Tom has successfully managed all areas of SACHEM America's business, including operations, sales, marketing, quality and Chem Stewards®.


Tom's broad operational experience in the electronics market will support SACHEM's growing customer base in the region. SACHEM's new 80,000 sq. meters production facility in Wuxi, Jiangsu, P.R.C.  includes a state-of-the-art technology for high purity Tetramethylammonium Hydroxide (TMAH) production, a key material in semiconductor and TFT-LCD panel manufacturing.  The facility includes high purity packaging systems, clean room facilities and a fully equipped high purity analytical laboratory with the latest instrument technology including ICP-MS.


Tom's extensive familiarity with SACHEM's Asian customers, markets, and products, makes him a valued board member of SN Tech Corporation, SACHEM's joint venture with Nagase & Co., Ltd., to market SACHEM's Mobius System™  TMAH recycle technology within Asia. SN Tech Corporation is based in Osaka, Japan and utilizes SACHEM's current TMAH recycle facility as its base of operations.
