The results below demonstrate the effectiveness of the Isolis System™ in detecting trace components not identified by elution chromatography analysis alone.

Diagram A is the fraction analysis of the displacement chromatography train, the first step in the Isolis System™.  The displacement chromatography experiment produces purified major components (light blue, dark blue, green) as well as enriched minor component samples that are concentrated in the transition zones (A, B and C).  These enhanced samples can then be analyzed using any traditional method including elution chromatography.

Table B is the resulting data comparing the number of components and total impurity observed from the Isolis System™ versus traditional elution chromatography of the original sample.
